Day 16-21 Broken

Oh man.. i broke the code harcore.. Hamburgers( with kobe beef AMAZING)!! and Home cooking..hey it was a special weekend with friends and fam. So im back now and man once you break it, its hard to get back in track. Well weighed in on monday at 238. Not bad for being in the 30's. I just hope i can hold off in the next couple of weekends so i can see more success. Well I bought a pair of skinnys at urban and the thing with urban clothes is that they never fit my fat bass. and they were only carrying a size like 36 max which never really were 36s. I bought some without even trying (50% off of clearance so like $10 AMAZING) and wow they are kinda loose too. had to have a belt. Awesome. I likey Likey.

Day 13-15 weigh in

well its weigh in time.. uh..uh...uh..uh...  240.  Wait retry it...... yep 240.  Very nice ken.. for not workin out im losing inches (my pants are falling off all the time) and belt holes are being made and i just feel a lot more fit.. losing some of that face fat.  I have fallen in love with eating lentils...  Just flavor em and bam.. pretty much eat as much as you want.. they are so low in calories.. Im full ( yet gassy some times)  but ill be looking forward to fininshing this diet and doing the Lentil diet.  I will continue to do the best i can to stay true and maintain my diet..but hey im not too perfect.. but weight loss is weight loss.  One thing this diet has shown me is to actually take the time to look on the back of packages for nutrional information..  I never realized how many calories are in bread and other goodies i used to eat constantly.  TIme to keep losin those lbs.

Day 11-12.. The Week recap

Finally another week passes.  I cant believe its only  been two weeks so far, the pants still feel loose and i have improved to curb my craving for late night eating.  I need to start getting into hardcore exercising to lose more weight faster.  I feel my metabolism is slowing down.  Maybe some CROSSFIT stuff.  I hear thats insane.  cant wait till monday to re-weigh..

Day: 9 + 10: five meal problems

well the past two days have been ok..  Trying to get into the groove of things again.  Only good thing is my cravings are going down.    However with my busy schedule its hard to eat 5 meals a day.  And on my 1/2 days you get lazy and dont want to make that many meals  Well ive been eating chicken salad wraps at work and just skipping the afternoon snacks for a dinner.  I better stick more closely to it.  i plan to switch to another diet http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2007/04/06/how-to-lose-20-lbs-of-fat-in-30-days-without-doing-any-exercise/http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2007/04/06/how-to-lose-20-lbs-of-fat-in-30-days-without-doing-any-exercise/

 when i finish this current one.  my brother and dad or on it.  My bro lost like 43 lbs in about 2 1/2 months.  and my dad lost 7lbs in one week.  Anyways back to the program.....

Day 8: weigh in

Well monday monday monday.... Day 8..  weigh in time.  man i wish i didnt break my diet today and the day before.  Ok. On the scale...  242.  ok ok ok.. about 4lbs.  not bad.  but the good thing is i feel skennyer, my pants are getting loose; im on another notch on my belt, and just feel overal (better).  this week its time to buckle down and get back into the hardcore groove.  Starting my exercise program this week so we will see how much weight i lose on the next monday..  Wish me luck.

Day 5-7: whoops

Whoops!! I havent really been able to keep up with the blog for the past couple of days..  I had my friends wedding that I was in and I really didnt have time to type.  And also i had to break my diet a little bit.  (hey, im not going to be an A-hole and not eat the catered food!)  I ate meals that were probably around 1000 calories or more, but i think the overall calorie intake for the day was around 2000..  not certain but, i know that i didnt splurge too bad.  When monday comes around we got the weigh in happening.  Oh no!!  for the rest of this week i will buckle down hardcore.. Forgive me. im not perfect..haha.

Day 4: Last 1600

Hooray..  I had a light work schedule and day 4 is the last day of the 1600 calorie limit.. Now i am going to upgrade to 2000..  Do you know what a difference 400 calories makes???  A lot!.  Now i think the diet is transitioning from their fixed scheduled meals to just 5: 400 calorie meals of my choice..  So now its 1-breakfast, 2-snack, 3- lunch; 4- snack; 5- dinner.  Im still getting those cravings at night and i find that the best remedy for that is to just sleep and hope for tomorrow's bountiful breakfast...

Day 3: curbin it


Wow day 3 already..  dang..i wish it were day 32.  My cravings are starting to change, and i mean "starting."  I forgot to eat my afternoon snack, so i ate some more for dinner to make my 1600 cal..  if i dont make that mark, and eat less, my body will start going into starvation mode and i wont lose weight.   I feel a lot less bloated and my size 36 gap dress pants are getting slippery. Ive noticed every time i go on a diet and actually gave a rip about what im eating i tend to lose lbs and inches quickly..  shows how bad i usually eat.  I like that feeling of slimming down and not having to have shame pillows covering my belly while sitting down.lol...  i bet by next week ill need a new whole/notch in my belt.  I cant wait till my weigh-in next monday.  For dinner i found these frozen halibut filets. and they were only 110 calories a piece.. AMAZING

Day 2: keeping it goin...

Well Day 2 underway..  I feel pretty good.. well because i only had a 1/2 day at work; but last night i was so hungry and just thinking about food i went to bed at 9:30..   which is extremely rare and my normal bed time is hours later.  Unfortunately i couldn't stick to the exact meal plan as the day went on and missed some snack times, due to being at a friends house; I still stuck to 1600 calories..  I cant wait until a week goes by and im used to the diet and shed those late fatty cravings.

DAY 1: im ok I guess

Day 1 is underway... I felt good about myself. Losing weight is a good thing right? Im on the right path for skenny-ness. I weighed myself: $%@!.. 246 lb. Not bad... considering how much i ate during the holidays.. I usually am at 250 right on the dot...( ok ok .. sometimes + 6lb ) but that was an all time high.. Anyway the diet has you doing four 400 calorie meals for the first four days.. so that is 1600 calories total. I mean sounds impossible when your regular diet is five times that.lol. Then I can only drink something called Fire Water/ and no its not alcohol, its [water;ginger;lime; Tabasco sauce; cucumbers; and mint]. its supposed to help curb your cravings.. Well I guess it works because all it does is just chemically collapse your esophagus.
Anyways.. I ate a cup of unsweetened corn flakes and made my small lunch and snack.. For being on my feet all day and doing physical therapy work i felt pretty good during my 10 hour shift. until about 4/5pm i started to get extremely hungry. Well I didn't get off until 7pm and was completely miserable. Got home and found that i could only eat :1 cup of brown rice; 1 cup of green beans; and 4 oz of chicken breast.( which isnt that much). Felt kinda good after eating and now im ok I guess..... we will see how i do since i have a condition called CMFS or (CHRONIC MIDNIGHT FATTY SYNDROME). Its so sad.. since i was little i have been plagued with starving at night.. so i would eat... and eating made me not cry to sleep..lol..
I will post my measurements tomorrow... dont laugh out loud.. do it silently. Well ill be dreaming of............

My Flat Belly Diet


Here I go........ its 2010 and yep diet diet diet.. Which diet you ask???? Well its called the {FLAT BELLY DIET } For Men. The main point is reducing your caloric intake.. eating healthier meals... eating 5 times a day, and eating MUFA (monounsaturated fat, a so-called good fat). for 32 days... and guess what .......WITHOUT EXERCISE....hooray!! But of course i will (moderately) hahaha. They say you can lose up to 27lbs and a bunch of inches from your waist and neckage. I havent completely read the whole book but the science is that the MUFA's attack the belly fat and is good for that visceral junk too.
Mufa's are found in:
  1. Oils (olive)
  2. Nuts & Seeds
  3. Avocado
  4. Olives
  5. Dark Chocolate
Well, for my 1st blog ever, I am going to document my daily progress with this diet, for 32 days.. from Jan 11th to Feb 12th. I plan on at least exercising 3 days a week. Ill give the nitty-gritty numbers even though its embarrassing ...hahaha. ill keep you posted.
